9th Dec 2007 at the Canterbury Junior Kennels Society All Breeds Championship Show under Mrs B Borjeson (Sweden) Toy Group and Mr J Lowbridge (NSW) BIS Judge : My Chinese Crested Aust Grand Ch & NZ Ch Xioma Fire In The Sky ( Billy) was awarded Best In Show. My thanks to Jeanette Bryce and Bernard Cherry of Koreke Kennels in NZ who handled him to his BIS. We were excited when he won RUBIS but this is just fantastic. We believe that Billy's BIS is a first ever for a Chinese Crested in NZ. Thanks to all his supporters who cheered him on at ringside. NEW ZEALAND TOP CRESTED OF THE YEAR Billy was 7th Top Toy and 28th overall 2007 DOL point scores and this after only 3 months in NZ.

Xioma consists of Sally and Sylvia Johnson and a bunch of crazy dogs.

We are very conscious that we have two very rare breeds and we will endeavour to protect them as much as possible.

We fully support Health Testing in Chinese Crested and we thank George Sofronidis B. Sc (Hons) Manager of Animal Diagnostics Genetic Science Services for all the support and help he has give us and for answering every stupid question with humour and candour.
